I listen to jazz and instrumentals on sunday mornings then move on to other chilled out tracks.happy I guess it's my way of winding down the week just gone and starting a new one..

I listen to different types of music gaged by my moods and what my day consists of....for example on a major cleaning day I like to listen to things like 3 Days Grace or Kid Rock etc...on a lazy cleaning day I might put in Zap Mama or Ani DiFranco etc etc... [Ravenladyj]

You know I do, I never thought much about my listening pattern. I listen to reggae,soca, calypso on Saturdays on Irie ATl. They play reggae during the week, but I tend to listen to R&B,jazz, and pop. On Sundays, its 95% gospel. When I was employ, hearing "living for the Weekend" by the O'Jays and the song that goes just got paid party jumping don't know the name or all the words, but man I would crank the volume up to full blast. Hi marina, I don't listen to anything in particular on any days anymore since I'm not working at the moment. When I was working though I did listen to "thank God it's Friday music"lol. I do remember that! I would sit back an crank up some tunes nice and loud and pour me some white wine and chill! Well, I no longer work or drink so I guess I can just listen to the tunes anyway! I just love music, all kinds any time. None in particular, depends on my mood. I like alot of the current stuff. I actually like R & B & Soul and old Rock music. I don't necessarily make plans to listen to different music on different days. I just try to not listen to the same sounding or type of music all the time. I am big into rock, I'll explore any genre of rock. Punk, grunge, metal and beyond. I also like to listen a little bit of R&B and rap; i am more particular in who i listen to when it come to rap. I normally listen to music when I'm studying, playing my game and posting here. I try to not designate a certain day to a certain genre. I listen to a little bit of everything overall. But I definately go by my current mood for the music I select from day to day. Classical music is wonderful driving music, but then, so is AC/DC. lol I usually prefer rock and pop, particularly the one's with clever lyrics or those that tell a story. Some music I prefer mainly because of the beat. I love a good guitar riff too mind you! :-) I don't listen to much Jazz, Country or Rap, but I do like a few of those types of songs, depending on my mood and how long ago it has been since I last heard the song. When I am studying I like to listen to classical music like Mozart because it helps my concentration. If I am in a happy mood I love to listen to dance music like my favorite tune Thriller by Michael Jackson. But what i usually do is turn on the music the moment i get up and start making breakfast and until i finish making lunch. I have to go to work so preparing breakfast and lunch do come together.
