do you enjoy listening to loud music or irritated or despair over its thumping soundrack blasting?did you know that listening to loud music are one of the bad things that is good for you?
i do. i feel like the greater the music's intensity the more pleasure it brings and the more i appreaciate the music itself.
But, though its one of the bad thats good for you.there should be a limit and length of time to be considered, according to the researchers or else loss of hearing may result.
so, how do you listen to your music?

Yeah! Whenever I listen to my Ipod or using headphones to listen to music I love to blast it! I like to blast it because I just like to ignore everything else, close my eyes and enjoy the music I love! [aznbiggie616]
Used to listen to really loud music and played them real loud. and I used to play real loud too...until I noticed a hi-pitched ringing in my ear that almost doesn't go away. Now I play music within ear-tolerable limits. Got to stay away from tinitus. [sixclix]
Enjoy your Loud Music when you are Young and can Still Hear It. Humans evolved in a quiet world where loud noises were seldom heard. As time went by the world has became much louder. Electronic equipment has enhanced sound, and the volumes today is are way beyond the normal sound range. Most seniors today have a percentage of hearing loss, and 40 years ago sound volumes were nothing like they are today. Every young person who turns the volume up will suffer many times the loss of today's seniors. In fact there are many young people who already have hearing damage. If you invest a few dollars today in a Hearing Aid Company you will be Rich by the time you you are Completely DEAF! ( Excuse me, I didn't catch your reply?) [barehugs]
No, I don`t enjoy listening to loud music. It annoys me. It makes me angry and too stressed. I prefer to listen to silent music. Only when I need to get rid of a huge bunch of negative energy: only then I listen to very loud music. Otherwise...No THANKS! [liisafiat]
I believe that loud music can be a sort of release. It seems to let out the stress and anxiety. Well for me it does. I'm sure with long term use of loud music, I may become deaf when I get older. Everyone thinks I'm hard of hearing now, but I just think it's because I'm probably not listening to them. [AmyLu19]
Yes!! Whenever I can... my family think I'm going nuts, but its just that I seem to enjoy the music better if its loud. Of course, this doesnt last more than 30 minutes, my ears start begging me to stop, so I turn it down a little while... and then up again! Happy MyLotting and have a nice day! Xp [Haylie2610]
If the rock, i increase the bass. If the slow song, listen to with the normal condition. If listen the songs from my favorite singer that had hi-pitched voive, i increase the treble and the volume, when i hearing her voice, it seems hearing she singing in front of my ears,oh...so wonderfull... [algalih]
Listening to good music is one of the good thing that we can do. Gone are the days when I listen to every kind of music, from love song to rock song. Now, things have changed. I don't like to listen to loud music like those rock and roll music, rap music and others. I just love to listen to gospel music from old time religion and those that uplift my soul.happy [learn2earn]
I absolutely love listening to loud music.. infact I call it feeling the music because when you are in a club with a decent sound system you can actually feel the bass through your body and that is what I call appreciating the music. [duckteam]
I do listen to loud music when I feel to make the sound so loud that the glasses and other things in the house move as the sound make it vibratelol but it all depends on what of music. I usually listen to loud music when I'm doing something like cooking where in the sound system was afar from where I was working but if it was just a few feet away, I put the volume in medium level. Then after I work in the kitchen, I turned it off then I'll watch television. [anne12d]
I never listen to loud music. I enjoy music because it is soft and mellow. I like music that keeps my mood calm and at peace. Loud music is bad for the ears. I get irritated with loud music. I even tell the driver of a bus or a jeepney to lower the volume of the sound if it is too loud. Very loud music is noise to me and not music at all. it gets to my nerves whenever I hear very loud music. [Masmasika]
When i listen to music i always turn it up as loud as possible because i just like to sit back and listen to my i-pod with no distractions even if it's something llike my mum callling me for dinner! I love listening to loud music. [jonahvb]
In my country loud music is apart of our culture. We play music on the street side mostly on the weekends. The louder your sound system plays the more hype you get and the more you get to play. So i really get use to hearing loud music its just apart of me i love it. [Sheldon25]
It all depends on what kind of music I'm listening to at the moment. If it's Slipknot or Avenged Sevenfold, it has to be cranked up. If it's country, along the lines of Garth Brooks or George Strait, I listen to it at a reasonable level. I just appreciate the hard rock music and the softer type music in different ways. [TrayBlaylock]
I dont like to listen loud music.Any sound with high intensity creates head ache for me.I like to hear melodious music with out any disturbance in it.I prefer classical type of music. It frees my mind from all tensions ans stress. [sreejithsreenivas]
Word. like i can listen to a song, but it just aint the same when i increase the volume. i feel more emotions. [3dgardo]
I do not listen to my music at a very loud volume. There are a few reasons for this. For one, it hurts my ears if I listen to the music too loud. Most of the time, I will also get a headache if the music is too loud. I think the primary reason that I do not listen to loud music is because of a video that I was shown in school. I video demonstrated the effect of loud music on the ability to hear. It showed the deterioration of hearing, and I must say that I was a bit scared that if I listened to loud music, my hearing would end up that way one day. [surveytaker29345]
first of all let me tell you that i do not prefer to listen to heavy metal or rock.... i like soft rock only particular singers, like linkin park and avril lavigne.... but not heavy metal at all ... but i do like loud music.... only when there is hip hop playing..... im totally into hip hop music...and i love listening to my favourite sound tracks really loud either when i am dancing or when i am driving..... mostly when i am dancing though cos i do not want to hear anything other than the music when i am dancing...i kind of go into a trance there..... i may want to listen to loud music when im drunk but that i guess my friends know better than me cos i dont remember myself the next day :P but mostly i keep the volume a little on the low side or sometimes i just come up with a bad head ache if the speakers arent al that good...and my car particularly doesnt have that good a system.... [shonali]
I enjoy the booming of the base and turn my sound system in a loud level so that I can feel the beat. I love listening to those songs that have good beats and I play it hard every time. I experience adrenaline rush and I feel like Im ready to go because I feel strong and all. Like those hiphop tracks though I dont dress and act like a hiphop. I just love their songs and I listen to them every morning when I wake up in bed and when Im busy doing things, I also listen to it while playing basketball ^_^ [francislazo_25]
When I am angry, really angry, or if I am extremely excited, then I will listen to loud music. When I was on my way home today from having to put up with my boyfriend's father, I blared my My Chemical Romance album, I was just so angry. I am like The Incredible Hulk when I am angry, you will not like me when I am angry. [rogue13xmen13]
I only like it loud whenever I'm at a disco dancing or something. Loud music gives me a headache. I prefer soft music or love songs so there no need to play it loud. And you're right about loud music having effect on your health. It's bad for the ears. Happy Mylotting :) [burnek]
hi there,,,,, yes i do love listening to loud music,,,,,music keeps me going on and on,,,,,,the voice of woofers pumping the bass and playing the track with the loudest bass just makes my feet tapping itself,,,,,i m great fan of loud music [ujjwalbatra]
Nope, loud music gives me a headache. I also like to talk to other people. so having music blaring in the background is a big distraction. I think when I listen to my ipod, the volume's a bit loud though. I just don't notice it because there's other noise in the background like the TV and music. Oh well. [mimico]
I don't mind loud music and as a musician, often play quite loudly, but listening depends on my mood. Sometimes if it is too loud, I feel irritated by it, and other times not.. :-) Derek [derek_a]
Great, is my pleasure to listen with a loud music cause it might generate the energy from the music to your soul. Like music and you combine together and feel the beat. Not everyone can stand for those loud music and agree with me. When you blast with your soundtrack, all these musical instruments pitch mixed together and you might listen to those hidden notes as well. Is not advisable for taking it too long, your ear will simply become lost of hearing with some frequency. [Hvaniday]
i dont like to listen a loud music.if loud thats not a music at all. [bombshell]
Although I like many genres of music, I prefer to listen to music at a reasonable tone. For one thing, if a person listens to real loud music constantly, he will eventually lose his hearing. Not only that but I know people who listen to real loud music both in their home as well as in their car, and the neighbors called the police on them. They received hefty fines for disturbing the peace with their loud music, and for infringing upon the rights of others who wanted to preserve their hearing. [Keola12]
Dear friend, I do mostly like to hear music in normal sound and while in parties and other functions I do like to hear it loud. At home I do hear in normal sound and also take care not to disturb others with the enjoyment of my music voice.happy [SHAMRACK]
it depends on what type of music im listening.. it also depends on the time and the situation inside and outside the house.. If i will make my player very loud while there is someone sleeping ,,, they will get mad at me, especially my neighboors. hahah I like punk rock music so at time im listening to that kind of music and i think its a good timing to enjoy it.. i want it louder!! thanks... [fajert]
My mood decides the intensity of my music in the moment. I do love loud music, but not ridiculously loud. I don't want to be hard-of-hearing by the time I'm 40! However, like you mention, loud music brings great pleasure. It really allows you to bathe in the music. Hearing no outside distractions or internal conflicts. It can be quite relaxing. But always in moderation - sometimes I only need one song to get my mood up and my heart racing, then the volume can go back to "normal" and I can still feel that music high. [goodnightmoon]
I like to listen to music loud when i am in the car on the way to work in the early hours of the morning..however when I mean loud it is not the thumping so hard your car is vibrating kind of loud. To me anytime I see or hear these kind of cars it makes me laugh at how ridiculous they are...kind of like overcompensation for something...you know what they say about guys with big trucks overcompensating for soemthing. I guess they think it looks cool, even though they may have no idea their breaks are going bad, etc. So i keep mine at a decently loud level while driving, went through too many car problems you see. [taface412]
hi there. just moderate volume when i am not busy.. if i am busy and doing alot of thinking... very low volume or none at all. happy mylotting. [shiloh_222]
i mostly listen to loud music but il make sure its not too much to break my eardrums... [raulmetalhead]
When we are driving and such, our music is not too loud, but it is not a light background hum either like how some people enjoy to listen while cruising. The music on my stereo plays a little louder in the room that it is in than it is easier to have a conversation in. This makes it where it is possible to hear the music in other rooms, like in the office I am in now. [UtopianIdealist]
I usually listen to my music at a reasonable volume, but there are times when I will play it louder than usual. This is when I am in the car alone and a particular song that I like comes on the radio. I also sometimes play my music at home loud when I am moving around the house doing different things and want to be able to hear it all over the house. Since I live alone and the next apartment isn't that close, I don't think I bother anyone, and no one has ever complained about my music being too loud, so I think I am okay with it. [idowrite72]
