I have a CD player but I don't use it that often anymore. I'm more comfortable downloading songs from the internet and transfer it to my phone or to the IPOD. I find it more convenient rather than bringing CDs with me as well as the player itself because it's kinda bulky. :) How about you? Do you still use CD players when listening to music or you're already into the new generation where IPOD or even your mobile phones are the ones commonly used? :) WHich one do you think is more convenient for you? :)

Sometimes I only use the cd players of my sister, but sometimes i just download a song from the internet to my IPOD. coz i can play the songs I've wanted...Im not really listening to radio..coz i don't know what time will my favorite song will be played! I love my IPOD, so i use it everytime! [tjaytiu09]
yes, i cd players i have two. and always loved them, i don't have an i-pod so I', saving for it so i can listen to a smal l gadget. with a million of songs. i wish i can one before christmas. [queenie_sum]
I listen to a lot of satellite radio when I am home. I have mp3 CDs that I listen to in the car. I have an ipod that I use for exercise, walking and other times. I love music and listen to it pretty much all the time. In our bedroom I have a TV that has a sleep timer and it has satellite radio via the satellite dish. [crazynurse]
I rarely listen to cd's now. I have ripped all of mine to my computer so they are easy to access. Not to mention now that I'm on Napster I've been downloading tons of songs. [cynddvs]
I still listen to CDs when I am at home or working at a place where I can listen to them. But, I just recently got an MP3 player and I take that just about everywhere else. I will even put audio books on it. I think our library has a way to download them onto my computer and I'm going to find a way to do it. [desertdarlene]
I used to use my CD player a lot, but not anymore. I use my iPod, I think they're easy to use. Also, convenient since you don't have to carry all those CDs around. [allys0n]
I still have a CD player that barely works and listen quite often to music on it. I have a large collection of CDs and prefer playing albums on my CD player, browse the inlay card etc and still prefer buying a new CD to downloading them off the net. My Cd player is however on its last leg and looks like it will disintegrate to oblivion. And then I'll buy a new one! [pitstop]
I am still using CD whenever i like to play it on my computer, and DVD player. But whenever i am on a trip, i'll just bring my mp4 and that's it, i am still on my favorite musics and i really love music. Cheers and have a nice day ahead from Francis. [vashstampede992000]
I still like it to buy and play cd's! You need to give the musicians something for their work! [Joerib]
Help, I'm stuck in the past! I use a cd player 'cause I can't keep up with all the new tech stuff. I'd still use my stereo & 8-track if they still worked lol! [tallpaulno44a]
Hi there! Worry not too much. There are still a lot of people who are stucked with what they are used to rather than using the new techs. It's just fine. :) Besides i don't think you really are into the old stuff all the time. Being here at mylot simply says that you are already in to other new techs on earth. COngratulations! :) [myworld_and_you]
The only time that I use a CD player anymore is in my car, using my car CD player. Otherwise, I prefer the new-wave of technology in MP3s, MP4s, and occassionally, I use my daughter's IPOD. It's just much more convenient to be able to readily transfer, download, and add songs to my play list, and so forth. [lazywalt99]
Cd player lol i got a cd from my son he got it so it still my favorite item i want ipod i going to save here get one lol it a dream i love music i pod cool i seen them but i got cd lol it ... [ROCKNBOOTS]
Yes, I use them in the car and for my dancing because my actual stereo has better sound quality. Other times I just play my MP3's right off the computer or in an MP3 player or the like... but I think I am going to wind up preferring CD's and actual ALBUMS in the long run and will miss them the day they start to become obsolete if indeed such a day is to come which some say is... [skydancer]
I dont know anyone that still uses a CD player. They really fell out of favor after MP3 players came out, especially the ipod. Nowadays I see tons of people with ipods and I haven't actually seen a CD player in a year or two. I think they are still useful in cars, but really, the world is really switching to mp3 or other digital media. [MrNiceGuy]
I don't like to download music I just rather buy them. I still use my cd player every now and then.Have a great day. [aprilgrl]
Well for in my room I still have a cdplayer I use rather often. I don't have an IPOD, I don't want one unless I they bring back the original style or something. The nano and shuffle are way too small. Instead I have an md player, which I like. Although I've lent it to my brother recently since he lost the ipod hebought at the same time I got the md. I just prefer the md player, it's big enough I don't feell ike I'll squeeze too hard and break it likeI did with the ipod nano. [Arkadus]
I still like buying CD's if i really like the artist/musician, but i always find that there are a couple songs on each album that i do not like, so i rip the music to my computer, then make my own compilation album with the songs i like, and play that around the house on my cd player, and in the car. When i am travelling around, on the train to work, excercising, i will use my mp3 player as it is far more convienient and i dont need to carry bulky cd's or players. I also like the idea that i can always go back to my computer and change the songs i have on my mp3 player if i get sick of listening to them. I couldnt do that with CD's. [misguided1]
Bah.. not exactly. Although CD players have better quality I prefer PC. I have all I need on my HD... Guess I'm lazy to put a CD in a player :\ [Morticia]
I sometimes still play CDs on our CD component, but that's only when I want to play music out loud. But yeah, I'd prefer my mp4 or download music from the internet ;) It's more convenient and so I can just carry it with me. [gegegelay]
I am still in the stone age of cd's. I don't have an ipod yet but am beginning to scout them out. I love technology and the concept is awesome I think. My son just got an ipod and is loving it. I still listen to vinyl records, cassettes, cd's, radio and music on the radio. I would never get rid of my sources for music I will probably just keep adding more ways to hear it. [wmg2006]
I usually listen to my IPOD if i'm going to listen to anything. Sometimes if my friend gives me a CD or something I'll bust out the old CD player and listen but it's usually the IPOD. [infinity239]
I used to have a cd player, but it's so bulky whenever i had to go out, i had to stuff my bag with the cd player and the CDs. Since i bought an ipod nano, it's definitely a space saver plus hundreds of songs. [4irene_r]
I usually listen to music via my PC, but I do have CD player that I use when I use guided meditation CD's. I find it's easier to listen to them that way, because I can get into a comfy position and not have to worry about anyone else listening in or interrupting me. Music is something that I don't really listen to a whole lot. My partner has downloaded a load of tunes to his cell phone and uses some of them for ring tones, but I don't see the point lol. [retardedrugrat]
I do not use CD player to listen to music. Now I use MP3 player, which I think is more convenience. If I want to listen to newly songs or musice, I just need to download from the website for free. Aslo I can reserve hudreds of pop music into my MP3 player. But I still believe the quality of the voice from the MP3 player can not be compared with that from CD player. [daphnexuyan]
i still use cdplayers to listen to the radio sometimes but rarely to play CDs. in terms of portable cd players, i dont have one and dont want one because mp3 players are smaller and dont need cds to be put in them to play songs. [darkzzt]
I have a cd player a gift from my sister in my graduation about 5 years ago. And I still has it. I love to listen music, I don't have any to choose from so I don't have any choice to use it as a temporary basis since I have a plan to buy an IPOD video for about a year. :D [eman123]
I used to have a really nice sony walkman but now i have decided to use my mem pee three (mp3) player. And now i am in the more technological part of the world. I am planning to buy a ipod! [drakan291]
