I sing sometimes while driving or riding in the passenger seat of a car. I talk to myself sometimes too if I have alot on my mind or if the other drivers are getting on my nerves or something. I do not drive many places anymore either. My husband usually does all of our driving now. [stephcjh]

I have to give a lot of presentations so I practice those, I spend hour upon hour driving every day, so get a lot of practice. Other times I try and "talk" through how to put my business together. When I drive Motorcycle with my myfriend, Used to advise him not to have loose talk. I don't know car driving. When I sit in the front seat I will ask my friend/driver to switch off T.V set. During Bus journey there is no other go except watch the video or watch the door side or keep my eyes closed. I can say I am also a good passenger. [ganga472007]

I just got my new car last week and I have drove it twice only. I will have my written test on the 22nd of this month for the driver's license. As of now, I think I am still a bit nervouse because I am just learning to drive, so I neither talk or sing... but I listen... my hubby is coaching me, that's why.lol [ruthinian]

I love to sing in the car! LOL...when I hit the metro area I make sure to have a big glass of soda in the car with me and if I get stuck in traffic I put in my tunes and relax while singing and sucking on a soda! LOL [jillhill]

I do both, lol. My kids use to get after me for talking to the guy in the other car, who of course can not hear any of my complaints. Plus we would all sing and car dance. We loved to car dance when they were young. All my kids just love music and I think it has alot to do with how much I had the music playing when they were young. I drive an airport shuttle where I live and I drive approximately 2hours each direction. Without a radio I am afraid that I would be insane. To answer your question, Yes! I love to sing. I tune the radio to my favorite stations in each place I travel too. Though I try not to sing to loud, I do get a bit carried away when all of the Marines that I shuttle get carried away as well. Can you imagine having 14 Marines in your shuttle with you singing songs like She Thinks My Tractors Sexy, or maybe even a little Maggie Mae. It is quite entertaining. I remember one imparticular Marine who rode with me to take his girlfriend to the airport and when Gary Allen's song "Song's About Rain" came on he sang it ever so sweetly to her. I was so touched by the love he had for her, I went out and bought the CD for him. [lttlmischievious]

I don't have a license here although I did have one back home. WHen I did drive I didn't really sing that I can remember. Sometimes I talked though. I must admit that I do sing in the car and that I even sometimes have audio taped the songs I was singing in the car as sometimes I write my own song lyrics and sing them.lol I talk to passengers in the car when I have them and also have been known to talk to myself and calm myself down, tell myself things that I noticed about the clients I just worked with as I am supposed to be keeping things confidential but still sometimes need to vent about the problems that they have dumped at my doorstep, etc. I am very glad that there are a lot of people on cellphones these days as some people think strange things about people who talk to themselves.rolleyes [whiteheron]

I do not drive, but I would rather the driver pay attention to the road. When we are in the car, my husband has the mp3 player on and we are listening to Johnny Dollar, that's an old radio program where I hope that the guy belonged to Blue Cross because he was sure getting injured and beaten up all the time. Most of the comments besides about the show were about when we were getting there and when he speeded up, he was in a race to get home. I usually keep quiet unless we have a conversation. Oh yes. I am usually listening to a radio when I am driving, so I am singing or lets say lip synching with the song and drumming on the brake and accelarator of my two wheeler. A incidence, it brought smile on my face, not funny but made me happy, I dont know why. My family and myself were on the way to a family friend's house for a Diwali festival get together and we stopped at the signal. This guy was driving a two wheeler (bike) and he was listening to the radio on his mobile and he was busy dancing sitting on his bike (swinging and swaying lets say) [anuraa30]

Oh yes I do sing in the car! At the moment I have the High School Musical soundtrack in the car and it goes off! I sing along to heaps of stuff, even silly songs that come on the radio. I have been caught out at red lights a few times singing my head off. It's embarrassing but funny. For some reason it just feels so liberating and fun to sing in the car compared to anywhere else! I don't drive; but I once used to ride. I loved riding, and I used to sing to myself. I hardly rode doubles because my balance was not that good. But I remember singing a lot. :) And the only person I rode pillion with was my ex. He would naturally tell you, being my ex, that I was a horrible person take on the back seat. I sing and talk while I drive. Sadly If someone was listening to me alone in the car they would hear me talking to myself about things to do or pick up. Yet I have been known to use the car as a decompression chamber after dealing with difficult people, a creativity enhancer as when I am on the road original song lyrics come along with original melodies so easily and must be sung a few times lest they vanish, a cafe when I go through a drive through and park to eat my food but take the ice tea along with me for a ride, and also a place where friends converse as well as pointing out dangers on the road that I might otherwise have missed seeing.
