i usually use my ipod, but only when i am travelling...
when i am at home i usually do something else as compared to listening to music....
when i am travelling in a train or bus i usually just listen to music, close my eyes and ignore everyone inside.lol
but with family menbers i usually just talk to them and not use my ipod...
family is better that hearing skillet scream into my ear...rolleyes

Dear friend, I rarely listen music while traveling and if listening I would use my Ipod or mobile phone in which I do have stored those songs selected in the memory card. I do listen to songs in mobile phone if my charge is not less and if I sure that I could charge my mobile any where near other usually I listen that is in Ipod. Actually, the only time I listen to music these days is when I'm driving. I have the radio, CD player and Sirius Radio in my car. I used to listen to music much more in my early days but now I just don't seem to have enough time to listen because I'm always thinking about what I'm doing or what I have to do. Well I love listening to music and I listen to it all the time. When I am online I listen to it on the pc as I have made a good collection of music.I can't go to sleep without listening to music so when I go to sleep I listen to it through an Ipod or the radio. I don't own an iPod and don't really want one. In the car I use either the radio or cassette tapes, or just keep it quiet. At home, I mostly have tv on, but when I want to listen to music, it depends on what kind I want to listen to. I have all my personal CD's downloaded to my computer so I can just go there and listen, or I can turn the tv to sirius radio and pick and choose there...usually I choose Movin EZ which is what is on now. I also have radio which I rarely listen to because it doesn't come in very well where I live. Then I have 475 record albums...yep, the old vinyl kind...and I love listening to those. Normally when Im at home whether it's cleaning or doing a project with the kids I have a stero on my bookcase and then I have another in the kitchen so depenind on what room Im in and what Im doing I usually have one of the two on. When I working at my computer I listen to yahoo launchcast alot of times especially because when Im working I usually do it when the kids are sleeping at night so that way I don't have to wake everyone in the house up. I have my mp3 player combination digital recorder, and I will listen to music while I walk. When I am home, I will get on the computer and go to Youtube and listen to the opera and classical music using the headphones, but only near the end of the day when I did everything else. Now if we are traveling in the car, there is no music, because my husband is listening to radio plays he put on mp3s. Oh I prefer classical so there is no screaming into my ears. And with classical I do not need the music turned up high. I can listen to music if it is turned down low and still talk. So I hope this is not "am I a polite or impolite listener discussion?" Hello raclie, when I am in the kitchen I usually turn the radio on to listen to music. The CD player is in another room since I moved flat last November, so I play the radio nowadays more than my CDs. When I am back home in Ireland visiting the parents, I usually borrow the ipod from my neighbour and I head off for long walks along the coast. I tried an MP3 player, but my lifestyle really doesn't mesh with it. I don't stop and listen to music. I should get some softer music or classical music to listen to around bedtime, I feel it would help me relax and get to sleep. I have the best way to listen to music, which I do quite a bit during the day. I recently purchased a used jukebox and I love it. I still haven't gotten all the cd's put in it that I want in it and only have the few that were left in it from when I bought it, but I listen to them all the time. I love it and find it was a great buy. I am looking forward to getting it fully loaded so I can listen to a bigger variety of music, but I also have a stereo, so I can still listen to other things, if I want, or on a portable cd player. Hi there raclie! I would often use my iPod to listen to music. When traveling, I would use my iPod with the headphones/earphones when I am a passenger. But if I am the one driving, I would use my speakers or would listen to CDs while traveling. When I am at home and I am alone, I could listen to loud music. However, when my parents are home, I am sure they wouldn't want such loud music so I would go to my room and listen to music with my iPod or my CD player. [dolce_vita78]
