Hi all, Do you listen to the radio (music), watch TV, or are you on the computer more?
For me I listen to the radio as I drive in the car. About 10% of the time. As for TV, well its on in the house most of the time, but I only watch it about 40% of the time.
And of course I'm on the computer 50% of the time.
But I do have the TV on behind me, as I'm on the computer. So I'm listening to it..
So how about you, or maybe you like to read more!!! So let me know..Hay..
One more thing, in myLot rules it states that we are not to start any polls. But isn't asking people questions, like takeing a poll?? Also we are not to post our Birthdays, ect. And we or a lot of us do post our Birthdays!! Oh well..

I am mostly on the computer during the day so I listen to the radio online while surfing or looking for a job. The only times I really watch tv, if I feel like checking out Law and Order or Jon & Kate plus 8. So I guess you can also say I watch tv online too because I check out the fancast website too lol. When I am on the computer I have something else on at the same time. I am on the computer about 80% of the time I am at home. If I watch t.v. I will fall asleep and if I listen to the radio I get angry because of the amount of commercials. So usually I have the t.v. on because it is the least of two evils. lol I ignore the posts that announce a birthday or myLot milestone or any other post that breaks a myLot rules and regulations. Ha you have game shows, and we sports on in the kitchen all the time. My dad watches all the sports. All of my life. So I can take a nap with football or baseball on pretty good..LOL..Your radio sounds cool.. [passivepam]
I love music. I wouldn't be able to go a day without music. It fires me up for sports and getting ready to go out and stuff like that. Especially in a road trip good music is a big part that makes the trip not seem so long. [bh2523]

It is a poll if you only want the one word answer, and you only give a one word answer, and you want to just collect the data. For instance " 75% of the myLot population eats potatoes" would be an outcome of a poll, tabulated by asking a question and keeping some sort of a record. Asking,"Do you like potatoes, or rice? and why?" would not be a poll it would be a discussion. You are not to post a discussion just about your birthday, or anniversary, or milestone post, because there is nothing to discuss. If I say "Hi, friends, I am 55" there is nothing to give and take. If I say, "Hi, friends, I am 55, do you remember when you turned 55?" Then it is a discussion. As to your first question, I am always on the computer. When I'm home, I have the radio on most of the time, whether I'm on the computer or not. On the rare occassions that I have the TV on, I'm most likely on the computer, too. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind not posting birthdays is, privacy issues maybe? As for polls, they have to close some time to tally the results, so maybe there's something about not closing discussions? Who knows? I certainly don't. [BarBaraPrz]

Well not radio, not TV but computer, first I will tell how it overtakes other two, because TV and radio can be watched and heard on computer itself. Can do lot of works on PC, obviosly everyone here on MyLot will be knowing this, no need to tell, they may be knowing better than me as they themselves use it. [AamidMS]

i am infront of the computer most of the time... i hardly use the tv since i am fed up with the tv shows aired everyday... i listen to my ipod while surfing the internet or while doing online opportunities. Music makes me feel recharged after a strenuous activity so listening to my ipod nano is a must... =) [gracie04]
i take my most time on computer, and then a few times on watching tv, at last listen the radio. i think our parrents is oppositely, they listen radio, then can watch tv, use computer, it is a interesting thing. means the time change, the things we do change too, i am curious that what does the next generation will do in their time? I love music, whenever im on my way to work i always listen to my mp3, i love listening to metallica, cradle of filth and bands as such. I really love metal bands, punk rock and rap metal bands. I would have to say that I use all three! I love watching the television, I enjoy listening to Classic FM and I treasure my computer! I must admit though, since joining My Lot I have become very addicted to my computer! Up until this time I was watching tv up until the early hours of the next morning. Now I turn off the tv at 6pm and then it's straight onto my computer until I hit the sack! As regards the poll thing, I guess responding to discussions, this could be looked upon as a poll but I don't think it is otherwise they would have done something about it. I definitely love to read as well! I just cannot get enough of books! They can take you to places you have never dreamed of. I'm a pure escapism fanatic! Aboput the only time I listen to "regular" radio is in my car. I listen to XM Sattelite radio on DirectTV at home often. My TV is on most the day as well. Dad loves watching the game shows. happy I only watch TV on weekends and late, late at night though. I spend most my time on the computer actually. I will usually be more on laptop than listen to radio and watch music when I am at university. When I am at home I will be more on watching TV. When i use laptop I will usually surf the net, do my homework and listen to music. [ravinder18]
I on my computer for most of the day, particularly at work. Then when i get home, I'm often on the computer for a couple of hours st least. However, what ever i'm doing I nneed some background noise, so if im not playing music on the computer. I have the tv on as well. Iv been spending a lot more time on the computer lately and i guess if i had to chose i would chose my computer over radio and tv because you can watch tv on the net and listen to radio and watch DVDs and i love my windows media player you can do everything all in one even shop online so i would definitely choose a computer.happy [apples99]
TV by far is my favorite thing, Computer second follow by radio only when Iam in the car. Listening to my favorite music that's at home with very good sound equipment, the perfect company and a good drink! When I am home the tv is on just about all the time whether im watching it or not. When i am out of the house I almost always have my ipod on listening to music. and as for the computer...im on in the morning and at night but not for too long thoug...it gets boring to me. [tparring]
I rarely listen to the radio now, but that's mainly due to living in a foreign country. I guess I spend more time on the computer than watching television, and most of the time I watch TV, it's watching something downloaded from the Internet. [mipen2006]
I do listen to FM and radio when im travelling in bus till last year i used to listen to the FM but in my new college using cell phones are not allowed , so we dropped that idea of using such gadgets and whenever i get home obviously my mom will be watching tv and at that time if im intrested on the movie or any shows i just watch over it and definitely even if im not doing any of these i would surely come and sit before the computer because i need check the earnings in mylot and i cannot just avoid my dear friends who are so far away from me. I usually don't listen radio because there is no station here in my country where I can listen good music.. I watch TV every night about 3 hours while I'm using my computer.. The computer is part of my life, I'm actually using computer at work and then at home.. at work only I use it for programming, at home I watch internet tv, listen to japanese podcast, and read ebooks.. I have never post my birthday here, I think that people that asks that starts that kind of discussion will be unrated or even banned from mylot.. I don't know.. Well I vote yes to both. I think every poll should have a birthday. I am a little different on the communications scene. I too listen to music when I am driving. That is usually a couple hours a day comeing and going. I usually do most of my computing in the early mornings when everyone else is asleep. I am usually done by 10:00 am or so. I very seldom watch any TV until in the early evening where I watch CNN and CNBC to find out the news of the day. Maybe watch a movie or show in the evening if there is anything worth watching. If not find something else to do That is one nice thing about owning a home, you can always find something that needs doing. [eeyore39]

Hi! I havent been able to hear music lately. As in my latest knowledge on the music scene is zero. Unlike before in high school or early in college I know anything and everything there is to know when it comes to music. I know the lyrics of the latest songs too even before they become hits in this country. But these days Ive been busy with school and then theres the annula festival this month so Ive been pretty occupied as much as Id like to. Before I get my daily dose of music from the music channels like MTV, Channel V and MYX. I also used to play music while Im at the computer and it would just be open from the moment I log in to the moment I shut down. But lately I prefer to work in silence. Im not fond of listening to the radio back then also, only when Im studying.^_^ So recently the only medium I use for my music pleasure is through the radio and thats only when Im getting ready to go out so its only for some minutes to an hour. Would love to be in on the latest music again. Schedule just doesnt permit it.doh [bjcyrix]

Well, personally I have a Full time job, so besides that and sleeping sometimes that, Church and other things sometimes this leaves little extra time for other things as well. For me, it would have to be listen to Radio 1%, watch TV, maybe 25% and then be on the internet 74%. My husband is usually in the background watching TV so that is on most of the time, but I would rather spend my time online like in myLot, etc. other than anything else as well. [KrauseHome]
I'm on the pc most of the time so I listen to music and tv on there. As to the poll, I believe what they are talking about are discussions like "Which do you like, Coke or Pepsi"...that would be a poll. We aren't supposed to post about birthdays but some ppl do. We're also not supposed to post about anniversaries and when I posted about how happy I was to reach my 2 year one last year the discussion was deleted...however I see other discussions exactly the same and they stay on here forever.
