i love to listen to mellow or love songs... it makes me feel relax and sometimes it comforts me whenever im sad.. some lyrics of the songs are kinda related to some of the situations in my life and i learn something from it...how about you?^^

Songs which have good and meaningful lyrics, good music are very much appreciated. I like classical songs of karnatic music, melodious hindi film songs of 1960's and 1970's, English Pop Music of 1970's and 1980's. [ssh123]

It depends what mood I am in. I mostly like music from the 80s era. If I am relaxing I love Enya and easy listening music, when I am working out at the gym I like pop music. If I am sad, I too like songs which lift me out of my sadness and are warm and make me feel good. I do relate songs to people I have met in the past soon, so if I hear a particular song it reminds me of past relationships etc.. [wolfie34]

I enjoy mellow music too, but I love all types of speeds of music. I do have every different emotion, so I enjoy all of them with all kinds of music. Just like when I'm hiped up, I feel like rock and when I feel joyful I enjoy country. It's the same for when I feel sad, also country or some r&b. Also rock again for when I'm angry. At night when I go to sleep, I listen to Native American music, the simple flute tunes, with some drum, is very relaxing and slightly mystical and spiritual. Also, I like listening to classical East Indian sitar music, with table and flute. I listen to love songs, too, but not very often, as I get all emotional and start thinking of past loves of my life that I'm not with anymore. Spanish flamenco music makes me feel passionate and strong, and celtic music is certainly some of the happiest music I've ever listened to.
