As for me, I love listening smooth jazz, particularly on acoustic and saxophone. Few of my favorite jazz artist are Earl klugh, Lee Ritinour, Acoustic Alchemy, Larry Carlton, and few more I just cant remember. On sax I like of course Kenny G, Grover Washington Jr., I like also bar jazz, like a piano jazz. Few of those whom I like most are Jim Chappell, David Benoit and more..I really like jazz even before but only smooth jazz. I hate those noisy kind of jazz..There are also some jazz singers that I like. To name few are, Michael Franks, Kenny Rankin, Sting, and few more that i forgot...How about you, you like also my kind of music? What type of music you really love to hear?

I love to hear those old-time christian favorites. These kind of songs uplift my soul and I am refreshed for hearing them. Those songs like To God be the Glory, The Power of the blood, Wonderful grace of Jesus, I surrender all, Great is thy faithfulness, etc, etch. are wonderful songs that only the redeemed can understand. I listen to anything except for country and techno music. My favorite is classic rock and classical music. Jazz is also great to listen to. I honestly alternate between rock and jazz when I am at work, they help to keep me motivated. Although, when it comes to jazz, I mainly only listen to the instrumental pieces. For me music is not only for listening pleasure, but I also enjoy listening to the different types os musicianship to help me better myself as a musician. I love to listen to just about anything, ranging from pop, rock, heavy metal, opera, country western, Middle Eastern, Mediterrenean, Celtic, Latin, Easy Listening, Jazz (especially the music of the 1920's. Although I love all kinds of music from any time period and era, my favorite era's of music are the early 1970s on back. I like music too, love to listen to it especially when I'm doing a routine tasks or relaxing,quite helps me a lot and cheer me up as well. Like to hear all kinds music as long as it wasn't that too loud or kinda unpleasant to hear with the screaming and all like metal or hardcore music. I like Funk, new and old. Pretty much anything with a good beat. I really get off on hard house, latin beat and world beat as well. i really like to be able to move to it. My favorite Techno artist is probably Barbara Brown. She's got kind of a latin/funky sound that makes me all crazy. I also like Groove Armada. They're good at parties. Come to think of it I really like all music. As long as it has a good message. I can't handle death metal and hate rap. Singing about slapping your ho and rape and all that is definitely not for me. i love soft slow movin songs in all kinds of languages. i am a great fan of soft songe with good lyrics. i love the lyrics a lot in some sofe of my favourate. i to like some rock, but only a hand full one, and some jazz to with some selected one here to and i like brayn adams songs and timbelake and some indian songs tamil hindi and malayalam too. that is my colluction and like some arabic and french some too. The main music I prefer listening to is rock music. I am really in to the hair bands of the 80's. I also like more current bands as well. Such as : Buck Cherry, Kid Rock and Nickelback. i don't have a particular genre that i like. i find that all music is nice to my ears. however, i do not consider heavy metal as music. rather, it's just noise to me. anything else works magic with me. i like all those that you mentioned and everything else. the current 'it' song for me is 'baba o'riley' by The Who. i heard it on one of the series and fell in love. prior to this, i've never heard of the singer. i guess i'm more of a song person than a singer person. cheers winkwink [applefreak]

I like the sound of jazz, though I couldn't name much of it. We listen to a lot of different music. Digital/trance, rock/alternative, classical.. and some that don't really fit in well anywhere. There is a lot of jazz on the Lost Highway soundtrack. Most of it is pretty good, there is this one part that has that noisy jazz you were referring to. Somehow though, it fits well on that album.
