i would like to learn piano. like really learn it good, i play guitar now and im continually learning on that. [kevhol2259]

i tried learning guitar, but i was teaching myself and didnt have time for it anymore. I really want to learn- i might take a class for it. The little I did teach myself was a lot of fun. I would like to be able to just play a song that i want to hear. Like, "oh.. i feel like listening to this song.." and then just start playing it. Just sounds fun to me. I also always wanted to learn the saxophone. It has such a smooth pretty sound- so relaxing. [NessaFilth]
Yeahh, i was doing that for a while.. checking online lessons.. and i was okay at it. Maybe i'll start doing that again:] [NessaFilth]

Probably the saxophone or the violin. Saxophone because I love jazz, and the violin because it can sound smooth and sometimes I get goosebumps listening to a good violin piece. [jeg2315]

I play the guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and singing. If alone / solo, I am happy to play keyboard and singing. If the band together, I am happy to play the guitar and singing.happy [hsofyan]

I play guitar just a little....but I would have loved to take lessons and learned how to play it alot better. I would have loved to be able to strum some of my favorite tunes...especially some country tunes that I really like. [jillhill]
It's never too late to learn. I learned to play guitar at community college. The lessons were only $11 for each semester and I only took 3 semesters. After that I joined a guitar ensemble for awhile, until work interfered and ruined my fun. [Pigglies]

I'm into guitar now but only basic chords i know . I still want to learn more from it so that i can play all the songs I always wanted and sing a song for a very special person.(the one who gave me the guitar) I'm also interested in flute. [simonelee]

I'd like to learn how to play the guitar well. I used to take lessons but I kinda gave up. I'd love to get back into it. [madhatta]

Hi there, I love to play guitar, keyboard. But I am still in the learning phase. I really have no time spend time to practise. I usually play my guitar very often as it gives me a sooting sound to play as my heart desires. Happy lotting. Cheers. [phillip_shiny]

Hmm, this is a tough one as I always wish that I could play more instruments! But I'd say I really wish that I could play the harp. I don't have one because they are so expensive and I wouldn't really have time to learn it anyway. I do play guitar, piano, and a few other instruments though. Guitar is one of my favorites. [Pigglies]

i can play today electric guitar, great highland bagpipe, pianop and drums. and after learning all those instruments i learned that you play an music instrument or not the important thing is to love the music no just learn an instrument to impress someone or be more popular. and they do not makes singing easier. [pilumasta]

I wish to learn a lot of different instrument because I like music very much and I enjoyed playing the instrument and singing alone. But, the instrument that I wish to learn is guitar. In fact I am learning guitar on my own now, and I know some basic code. I still hope I can improve on it and master it well. [siewching_0908]

when i was a kid, i wanted to play violin, but opportunity is really hard to find :( coz til now, it's still a wish that i can't do. we do have guitars here at home but only my hubby knows how to play and he doesnt have the time and the willingness to teach me... :( [Nhey16]

I'd love to be able to play something different. Something that not many people play, well generally anyway. Like I would love to play the Cello-I think that would be great fun. I also think that a flute sounds beautiful and would love to learn to play that as well. As far as more popular instruments I would love to learn to play the piano. It produces such a beautiful sounds that can be either exciting or relaxing. I remember as a small child my grandparents had one in their home that I began practicing on but then we had to go back home which was not close by and I never took it back up. My parents couldn't afford a piano or lessons anyhow. Maybe one day when I have the time I will learn. [kcoregon]

I love to play the piano.coz everytime i hear someone playing the piano. It soothes me well and relax my soul. But how I wish i know how to play it.Maybe 1 day i will learn how to. [vzerocool]

The flute. There was this play that I watched a long time ago, and there were a few scenes where they used a flute for background music. I thought it was very effective, and the flute sounds were so soft and cool to the ears. I thought it would be so nice to learn how to play it. I never had the chance. I never had a flute, and in fact, I don't think I've ever held one in my hands - just seen it from afar. Happy mylotting! :) [NonaSaile]

Yeah, I wish i knew how to play the guitar or the piano. =)=) I just love guitars. =) [LairOfMetal]

hi tiffany! well, there are three instruments that i wanted to know how to play before. number 1 is the guitar, second the piano, and third are drums. these three instruments were on top of my list on instruments i should know how to play. when i was in college i learned how to play the guitar. so i got one down. 2 years ago i learned how to play the piano. so the thing that's left on the list is playing the drums. i don't think i will ever learn that on my lifetime though. i guess over the years i just lost interest on it. i'm pretty well contented of knowing how to play the guitar and the piano. and i'm still learning to play better. but if someone would say that they'll teac h me how to play the drums then i would gladly accept it without second thought. happy [tomjoad]

i wish i would learn how to play a violin now i know how to play drums(as my talent),guitar, piano, flute. [rcjp03]

Hi justbeingtiffanyhappy I wish i can play harps,,because I think harps player looks elegantwub There isn't many harps player in my country. When I was child, I love to read story about ancient Gods and the fairy that play harps, so maybe it affect me too.. I don't have harps because I don't know where to buy and it's expensive. Now I take a piano course instead of harps,,but it's okay, I love piano too [ChrysanTflower]

I wish i knew how to play the drums.happyI don't have it at home, because i can not afford it yet.sad I am interested with this instrument because i like hitting stuff that produces tune. Way back in High School, i used to hit my table and produce music. I loved to play the melody of "buttercup". The second instrument that i would love to learn would be the guitar cause it's cool and when i feel "emo" i can emote myself beside the window and play sad songs. w00t [koalapenguin]
okay, i will try that someday. wink thanks for the offer! i bet you are a really good musician.lol [koalapenguin]

I am a musician and I play lots of different instruments. Piano, guitar, electric guitar, bass, banjo, and was even working on fiddle/violin for a while. The thing you have to remember is anything you start and want to keep doing you have to stick with. Learning music, and instruments takes practice and dedication and doesn't happen overnight. It's true that some people have a knack for picking it up faster than others and I was fortunate enough to be one of those people, but I do believe that anyone that wants to can learn to play an instrument decently well if they have the devotion to it and are willing to put in the time. If you own the instrument and wish to play it, there is no excuse for you not to learn. Today there are millions of websites devoted to showing you tips and tricks and even have free beginning lessons, (or you could do it the old fashioned way by getting a hard copy book and reading some chord charts or scale diagrams) But music is fun in a lot of ways and it is very relaxing and a great way to deal with stress and other things that come along int life, and most importantly its something you can share with others. So if you want to learn and you have it just look up some charts, get a friend that plays to show you some stuff. Everyone I know that plays would be happy to show others some things and give them a headstart. [barrettcoffey]
wow ur a gifted person then... [homeshoppers]

i like to play piano coz its only like ur typing ur keyboard.. but the most hard for me so far is guitar... no matter how i try my fingers are not responding.. lol [homeshoppers]

i learn't to play percussion or drum sets when i was in my second year in the high school and after that i wanted to learn the guitar but my trainer was transferred from my location to another place. i still feel so bad that i couldnt get the chance to learn the guitar till today [tundeemma]

I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar; never really had the time to do so. It's something that someone can do on her own, singing while playing the guitar; something that can help pass the time, too. I used to study piano but i have completely forgotten how to play :( [jensenfan]

Well currently I'm learning to play guitar, which is a simply amazing instrument for and I suggest it to anyone who is having doubts about guitar. I also know how to play the violin, but I discontinued that musical road. I would like to learn how to play the piano and the cello. The piano for it's large range of music and beautiful sound. I don't know why I want to learn the cello, but it appeals to me for some reason. Hope I helped. =) [Gondovia]

Like you, I also sing. I have a guitar...I just haven't played it in a while. I keep saying I need to get to it, but I never seem to make the time. That is what it all boils down to for me. I have to MAKE the time to practice. That is the way it is for any instrument, if you want to be good. You have to practice, practice, practice! I can play "Margaritaville" on the guitar, because it only involves 3 chords! lol I am the lead singer in a cover band, and the lead guitarist taught me that one so I could play along with a song. It is fun, but I feel like a dork picking up my guitar for only one song that night, then putting it back on its little stand for the rest of the gig. I guess you have to start somewhere though, right? happy [cobra1368]

It would be to learn playing guitar and drums. I do know how to play piano but you cant always carry a piano around. Unlike guitar you can bring it anywhere and play anytime you feel like it. I tried to learn it when I was still teenager but my brother told me my fingers would look like E.T.'s fingers of I continue... well I am a lady and I dont want my finger to look ugly. So I stopped and never learned it. I also wanted to learn how to play drums I think its a good way of channeling anger. :) [jaizhi]

Nice question you've posted!:) I play bass guitar, so on one hand I would like to play bass perfectly. On the other hand, I am not totally newbie in playing bass guitar anymore, so I can play some songs and learn some new ones. One instrument that I would truly like to play is actually trumpet. It's because I saw a movie called " the Salton Sea". Main character was trumpet player here, so that instrument caught my eye from first sight. I also like trumpet because it has superb sound, I could play different kinds of melodies with it: sad or cheerful. [Biomechanoid]

The panpipes would interest me. It sounds more natural. [Flikker]

I really want to be able to play the erhu. It's a classical instrument that's most often heard and played in China. I always loved the classical, especially when it's played with the erhu. I love the sound and romance of the instrument itself is really appealing to me. I sometimes see people play it on TV and always get mesmerize by how well they play and how into the music they seem. I heard that it only has two strings so it's kind of difficult to play. It's not an instrument that can be played by everyone. I hope one day, I'll have the chance to play it. In the meantime, I think I'll just go enjoy listening to more music by the erhu. [travelingtheworld]

I took piano lessons at an early age but eventually stopped playing. Then my grandfather bought me a flute. I started fooling around with it, then lost interest. I have a guitar but I don't play it. wishful thinking on my part now? I wish i knew how to play well these instruments. thinking about it, i wasted time. i could have been good if only i persevered in learning. My flute is now somewhere in my cabinet, the guitar forgotten... the piano? good thing they didn't buy me one. :D [mhii_stranger]

One instrument that i want to learn is the violin. I did have a chance when i was a kid but i didnt get into it... Second is piano. they both sound very nice [mukboh]

I do wish I could play the piano as good as maksim.. I dreamt of playing bumblebee, sugarplum fairy dance or moonlight sonata.. Its my frustrations to learn how to play piano. I always asks my dad to teach me (he knows how to play all the musical instruments in the house) how to play the piano but due to his super busy schedule he cant, thats why I learn to play the basics by myself but Im still struggling to learn more and I keep on practicing so that eventually I can tell my dad that I had learned how to play the piano by myself. [J3rvic]

The violin! I've always wanted to learn how to play, but I never got the chance. I actually play the piano, and my mom insisted that I should just concentrate on it, but now I have totally lost interest. A friend of mine recently bought one and he's been telling me that if I get one too, we should take lessons together. I am still thinking about whether I should get one, but it's kind of expensive here, so I will still weigh it out whether I should or not. [mymelodake]
