Whats On Your Playlist

What songs do you have in your mp3 player, i pod, or PC playlist? I want the actual track names and artists, not what kind of songs... I'll tell you why. Well, since talking about different music that people like, I have actually discovered a lot of good tracks that have gone into my playlist. It's nice to exchange different music because you come across different artists and bands that are not so popular, but actually better than the most popular. So I though if we could all put here exactly what songs are on our playlist, maybe we can discover more great music from each other. I'm hoping to discover some new music this way, and hopefully someone can discover something from my playlist too. I'll tell you what I've got in my mp3 player, and how I was first introduced to that song...Now these are my favorites, so be nice.. Rap/Hip hop # The time is now - John Cena # What you know- T.I # In a hood near you- Suni Clay # Riders on the storm- Snoop Dogg # Overnight Celebrity- Twista # Labor day (It's a holiday)- Black eyed peas # I am rock- Rock (Need for speed most wanted) # Tilted- Lupe Fiasco # Six days (remix)- DJ Shadow feat. Wow, Vega you really took your time on your discussion I see. If I were to choose among the two playlists you have there, I would go for the Rap/Hip hop list instead. Simply because that is my type of music. I am not into the Rock/Metal type of songs really. But there are cases where I like hearing some of those songs. I am more into R'n'B, Ballads, Rap, Hip Hop and Soul ones. In other words, I like it nice and slow. Having said that here is my playlist from the imeem.com website that I am always listening to when I am at work: 1. Come to Me - P.Diddy featuring Nicole Scherzinger 2. Smack That - Akon featuring Eminem 3. My Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani featuring Akon 4. I wanna f*ck you - Snoop Dogg featuring Akon 5. Irreplaceable(Male Version) - JJ 6. Irreplaceable - Beyonce Knowles 7. My Love - Justin Timberlake 8. You Remind Me - Usher 9. My Boo - Usher and Alicia Keys 10. Grillz - Nelly 11. Tokyo Drift - Teriyaki Boyz 12. Incomplete - Sisqo 13. Weak - Jojo 14. Beautiful Liar - Beyonce featuring Shakira 15. If I ain't got you - Kenny G There goes my list. However, I am adding some as we speak.=) [brandonmagsino]
Yeah, it did take me some time to get all this down, as I'm sure it will be for everyone who answers to this. I guess from your playlist, the tokyo drift by Teriyaki boys would be my favorite.. Well, if you do like to listen to rock only sometimes those songs are really good. And that was my intention in the first place, so that we can discover some new tracks from each other.. [vega83]

I use my motorola v3x as my player. Here are the songs on my playlist: 1. Is There Something - Cristopher Cross 2. How Deep is Your love- Bee Gees 3. Shape of my Heart - Backstreet Boys 4. Through the Years - Kenny Rogers 5. Lost in love- Air Supply 6. All My Life - America 7. I Made it Through the Rain - Barry Manilow 8. Got To Believe in Magic - David pomeranz There! Thanks.. [inday312saylon]
Hey thanks for putting it down here... So I guess you've got your all time favorites on there... [vega83]

I have over 10,000 songs on my iPod, so I hope you'll understand when I don't post the whole list here. :) I have very eclectic tastes in music, so the artists range all over the place. I will tell you, though, that my latest addition to the iPod was the Stolen Babies CD, "There Be Squabbles Ahead." I couldn't even begin to tell you what goes on my playlist on my computer, but its almost all country, southern gospel, a little bit of praise and worship... But just about all I listen to is Country music and thensome, I annoy my husband who just doesn't buy my story of being boring and predictable. I have everything from Alabama to Yankee grey, with lots of George Strait, Alan Jackson, etc, etc, etc crammed inbetween. I love the more traditional sounding country but have nothing against Shania, Faith, adn some of the more rockish country.... The only group that I can't stand anymore is teh Dixie Chicks......The best album that they have done was the one they did independently, Home, all very accoustic and country sounding....now they can't get a record deal for anything, because Sony has pretty much blackballed them out of the business...they have to subcontract all their work. Mooch [oneandonemakesix]
Well, I've never been much into country songs, never heard many to decide anyway. Except on K-Dst Radio station, in the game GTA. And you know what, I kind of liked it... [vega83]

I have quite a few but my faves are mika- grace kelly and love today, scissor sisters don't feel like dancing, and a heap of other funky songs [ozangel82]
hey, Mika is actually one of the few popular artists whose music I enjoy. I like his songs, they're so different.. [vega83]

As I have thousands of music files on my PC (I have just a seperate hard drive for music) so I'll give you list of some of the music I'm listening to at the moment....although the playlist is different every time as it is always on random... P.O.D. - Alive Aerosmith - Falling In Love (Is Hard On The Knees) Alice Cooper - Feed My Frankenstien 50 Cent - P.I.M.P. (Remix) Linkin Park - Crawling Sammy Davis Jr - Rhythm Of Life De La Soul - Me Myself And I Black Sabbath - Changes Ozzy Osbourne - Gets Me Through Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody Led Zeppalin - Stairway To Heaven Lordi - The Devil Is A Loser Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy Tight Fit - The Lion Sleeps Tonight Limp Bizkit - Rollin' (Undertaker Remix) Motorhead - The Game Insane Clown Posse - Homies D12 - Revelation David Bowie - The Laughing Gnome Meatloaf - Life Is A Lemon And I Want My Money Back Johnny Cash - Hurt Staind - Outside Dolly Parton - I Will Always Love You The Who - Who Are You Mike Oldfield - The Sentinel Fatboy Slim - Rockerfeller Scank I have more, but I think you get the general idea.... [Dumpertaker]
Yup, I get it alright. Now, I'll have to go through all these tracks to see if I like something I hear. I do know most of the tracks you mentioned.. [vega83]

well im more on alternative songs so few of them in my list are; you and me - lifehouse, macy's day parade - greenday, if everyone cared - nickelback, here by me - 3 doors down.. some of your songs are nice. [MGjhaud]

I think we're all music fans, just different types of music. It's hard to imagine life without music isn't it? I was into romantic stuff a long time back, when the only CD I had was Michael Bolton, that was when I was in school and first got the PC. Now I'm all about rock and rap/hip-hop. [vega83]
