I like Bryan Adams too, particularly that song. My all time favourite is 'You're My Best Friend,' by country singer Don Williams. His voice is like a caress, and the words are so lovely I just melt every time I hear it. That song is for everyone who ever loved, and it reminds us that your lover should also be your best friend. [Sandra1952]
Great choice. Happy Mylotting. [suj123]
My all time favorite song is MAYBE by Thom Pace. It's the soundtrack of the TV series 'The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams'. God I love that song sooooooooooooooooo much wub [always_natalia]
Thank you for sharing. Have a nice day. [suj123]
I had a lot of favorite love songs but what inspire me most is the song from journey with their vocalist at that time Steve Perry. The song is entitled 'When you love a woman', try to listen from it if you have time. It is very meaningful and the voice of Steve Perry is very great! [kaguvkov]
Yay for another Journey and Steve Perry fan happy[/em}, Steve Perry is an awesome male vocalist and im only 22 and it makes me sad how so many of my friends dont know who the heck he is dohand im like "OMG how can you not know Steve Perry?" [spicysweetie21]
hmmm mine would be "this never happened to me before" by Sir Paul McCartney.., love its slow tempo and lyrics, I can hear this song endlessely... [nicks89]
Nice song. I too like this songs. [suj123]

it is so difficult to choose a love songs. and in Italy we have lots of good singers that have dedicated lots of songs to love. one of my favourite is "canzone" by Vasco Rossi... i found it so beautiful... the meaning of the songs refers to a love just end! [pingi68]

this is a little bit hard since im a classical music lover(lol..i feel like a medieval person)..well, there's only one i really like to sing and play it in my guitar...Im With You by Avril Lavigne..:D [fheroan]
I like Avril Lavigne's Im With You..it just depicts something about me...like one of the lyrics**Idk who you are but, Im with you**..lol, maybe because i havent experience being in a relationship so i think its because im still finding that special someone..:D [fheroan]

I love the song Candy Rain by Soul For Real. I don't know if it counts as a love song but it's a great song :D [jacksbg7]
Thank you for posting. [suj123]
If you get a chance to hear "I Will", by Jimmy Wayne, please do. I really like this song, and I can't stop listening to it. I found it on YouTube. There are 2 versions; one with talking and one without talking. The version without the talking is great, in my humble opinion. Please let us know what you think of this song. [clutterbug]
I heard "i will" and i must say it's really very beautiful. Thanks for sharing with me. [suj123]
all time? that's a very hard question but the song that came first to my mind is aerosmith, I don't wanna miss a thing from the movie armageddon. Lots of version of it was made but none of them is as good as the original. [antisociality]
Nice song. Thanks for responding. [suj123]
My all time favorite love song is HEAVEN KNOWS by Rick Price. It's the best song for me because of the lyrics. When I was in high school when my first boyfriend broke up with me, I always sing this song and I believed in the lyrics and guess what happened? We met again after two years and now were married. This is the chorus of the song: Maybe my love will come back someday Only heaven knows And maybe our hearts will find their way Only heaven knows And all I can do is hope and pray Cause heaven knows [elghrasya]
Wow now l will also sing this song. Lets see if he comes back to me. Well Have a happy married life. [suj123]
Oh gosh there are so many, i don't think i can pick a favorite,,,,but some of my top are Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me" because i think that is the epitome of what love should be, love should be something that supports a person to achieve all of their dreams, Journey's "Open Arms" is another good one in the opposite way, because it expresses that even after so many hardships and break-ups, love can still be waiting with "open arms" and Steve Perry is like the best male vocalist of all time, in my opinion [spicysweetie21]
i gave you two because i couldn't decide between the two [spicysweetie21]
Well there are quite a few songs that are my favorites and to select one of them from the loads of good ones would be difficult. And despite that I think I would give the top role to one of my older favorites. I think that " 18 till I die " would be my favorite one. And I like Enrique's Bailamos, Rhythm divine. And the " everybody " song of the Back street boys group would line next to be my favorites. thanks a lot for this discussion. [praveenjena]
Its my pleasure that you liked my discussion. [suj123]
My favorite is "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. [whiteheather39]

My all time favorite song is : "I want you" by BonJovi. Nice topic. [iqphantom]
Nice to hear that you liked my topic. [suj123]
Let me see. I have several love songs that really touch my life so much. I guess Your Song by Elton John is a nice song as i still listen to it when i feel the strong gush of love for someone. One Day In Your Life by Michael Jackson when he was still black and belonged to the Jackson 5 is still quite sentimental for me. I am the type of a guy who loves old songs of the 70's. Of course, the girls of the 80's are already the beasts of the millenium like my wife, but these love songs still remind me of the days when they are still the sweet demure petite girls, and not the present day ghostbusters. LOL.... [safejunk]
hehe Thanks for posting [suj123]
My favorite song hasn't changed since the 1980s. Total Eclipse of the Heart Bonnie Tyler [libby2009]
Yeah, this song hits me down to the bottom of my heart every time I hear it. [libby2009]
I don't have one favorite song. There are so many good ones out there! My wedding song was Everything by Lifehouse. That's a really good one, I think. [bakedzito]
Thanks for posting. [suj123]
I don't know if this is necessarily my "all time" favorite, but I've always REALLY loved this song... "Now and Forever" by Richard Marx. By the way, I completely agree that "Everything I Do I Do It For You" is a beautiful song! [goodnightmoon]
Wow another classic. Thanks for responding. [suj123]
I have a lot of them, a few weeks ago my step-son got married. My husband and I went to the Justice of the Peace almost 2 years so we never had a wedding reception or anything fancy I requested 'Could I have this Dance' by Anne Murray at the wedding and then got my husband up to dance and told him that I requested it so we could dance to it. So that makes it my favorite...officially. [Debs_place]
Thanks for sharing with us. [suj123]
"Love Song" By The Cure is a classic. I am also fond of "We're in this together now" by Nine Inch Nails. It is not the classic ideal of a quiet sweet love song, but when I hear it, I get that devotional, "us against the world" feeling. [UtopianIdealist]
Thanks for responding. Have a nice day. [suj123]
i think it would be "you are the one".. i don't know who is the original singer of this song.. do you know this song? [jhoanne1215]
You talking about "You are the one" of Shiny Toy Guns ? [suj123]
Yeah, that was always one of my favorites too: Bryan Adams - "Everything I Do I Do It For You." Around that period of time is when it seems all the best ones were out, like, ooh, here's a list of some of my all-timers: - Lighning Crashes (Live) - I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston) - Stand By Me (Ben E. King) - Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton, although not really a love song) - Kiss From a Rose (Seal) I bet I could go on and name some more faves if I spent time. ;o) Nostalgia! [Loen210]
Oh, another one just popped into my head: Unchained Melody (Righteous Brothers). I just saw an ad for "Ghost" replaying on TV this week. I remember how it featured that famous clay scene. [Loen210]
Thank you all for your post. I have got a great list of love songs. [suj123]
I'm not sure I have an absolute favorite . Thats a tough question. But someone asked the same thing a few days ago, sorry but they did, and my answer remains the same. It is a song called "Smooth" by Santana.. But , I have Many I love to listen to simply because each has its own way of describing love and the complex emotions involved. moonbutters [moonbutters1]
Oh yes ! That is indeed a good one . One that I hadn't thought of in years. How time flies ! As far as a song would go in relation to a "lovesong" pertaining to each of my children, For my daughter it would be a song by Greenday called "Time of Your Life", because that's what I want for her. For my son one from Guns and Roses called "Something To Believe In", because during his teen years he had such a stuggle coming to grips whith who he was as a person and his direction in life. For my sister who has now passed away ( I miss her very much) a song called "I Hope You Dance". And I hope she is danceing , she deserves it. BTW, Thanks for remembering my "Stone Soup" story and for passing it along to others. hugs, moonbutters [moonbutters1]
You and Me by Alice Cooper. [rdadey]
