Well all musical instruments sound very good but different people have different interests and accordingly like different musical instrument.I guess guitar is the most famous instrument these days but I love piano.Its sound is so soothing.Since I cant afford a piano now I play synthesizer in piano mood.

I love listening to the piano because it's so beautiful and you can imagine just about any picture. I used to play a little bit but once I got out of high school, I didn't have access to one so I had to quit. I like listening to music, classical music most. For the instruments, harp and saxophone are my two favorites. They are just so smooth and enchanting to my ears. Yes, I tried to learn how to play the harp in my younger days, but didn't make much progress. I still want to give it another try when I have the time to do it. I have a collection of CDs of the classical music, Chopin, Brahms, Beethoven, Strauss, and more. [greenline]

hi i mostly listen to all the three main streams in a rock song, lead, bass and drums, but i listen to more of drums as i play them, it is really interesting to listen to them, i have a lot to learn from them... and as you know the songs that i play on stage i do a rigorous study of the drums... well even casually listening to music i listen mostly to the drum patterns(in my deepest interest)... well you like to listen to more of the "beats" of the songs coz you are a dancer, isn't it?wink [voldrox]

i like listen to guitar and piano. i can't choose between the two because they both sound so different and they are really wonderful plus i got a piano. and i i'm getting a guitar but i'm gonna play the guitar more because its new. and i have a clarinet i love the sound of that as well because i play it and it just amazes me that the sound that comes out of it isn't that bad, i know a few people who can't even play it. I love the cello. The theme music to the television show "Angel" was brilliant, moody and atmospheric. It's by far my favourite instrument to listen to. I do play the violin, and when I was younger I loved playing the cello (though I wasn't as good at it as the violin) but it's far too expensive to buy one now. My second favourite instrument to listen to is the harpsichord, but I suspect that's just because I have heard so much Bach performed on that instrument. [tessrow]

I like to listen to piano,too. As there are so many masterpieces played by piano. And they have the power of attract people's heart. I like Bethoven's piano music. I've always loved listening to the flute. The flute is by far my most favorite instrument, that is why I chose to learn how to play it when I was younger and I still enjoy playing it to this day :-) [dreamr802]
You're welcome. The flute is so much fun to play. If you can play the flute you can most likely pick up a sax and a clarinet because the fingerings are the same for the notes. The biggest difference the mouthpiece, playing with a reed is very hard and squeaks...flutes are very hard to make squeak lol. [dreamr802]
I do not know how to play any musical instrument but I love to listen to people playing them. I love piano above all the instrument. To me piano is a wonderful instrument that gives me peace and I feel calm when listening to it. I love the pieces from Beethoven and Mozart. I love listening to harmonica music. Especially classical pieces played by Larry Adler, those are the best! I need to get back to playing harmonica myself. I like traditional Chinese music instrument, especially Chinese zither which has a history of more than 2000 years. Some years ago, I learnt it for one year and a half. But for some reason, the study was cancelled. Now I can study it again! I hope you can have a piano soon! [landyh]

I think some flutes are really calming. Piano too, if player is really good at it and can play it mood raising way, then its pleasurable to listen to it. Trumpet is really fun too. After all, I like acoustic guitars sound the most. You just singalong with friends when guitar plays. [alesippi]

I like to listen to the sound of playing guitars, be it acoustic or not. I also like the sound of piano or organ. It feels relaxing and soothing to the ears, not that loud and clank unlike cymbals and the beat of the drums. I also like the sound of violins. Specially if that was played in an orchestra. It really is classy and puts you into a romantic mood. And I also get curious to hear the sound of a sitar.
