i like flute,violin,saxophone,keyboard musical instruments but i dont know to play all these things..i like to hear melody musics from these musical instruments..which musical instrument do you like most? and do you know any musical instrument to play music..

I used to play piano... I play clarinet and alto sax... I tried to learn guitar and did not do very well. My boyfriend plays keyboard, alto sax, barri sax, and guitar. I love to hear guitar music and I like jazz type band music and some blues. I love rap, r&b, hip hop. country, 80's music, rock, classic rock, punk, metal, death metal... basically anything with a good beat and no classical music... I've been hooked on the guitar ever since I started to play about 8 or 9 years ago. The guitar is definitely my favorite instrument. I have an appreciation for so much more though. I would love to learn to play so many instruments, especially piano and drums. I used to play trumpet from grade school into high school but I was never very good. I can honestly say that I like almost every instrument! I am partial however to Saxophones since I played one for many years. My son now plays it in High School too! [rocketj1]

the musical instrument i like is keyboard. because it handles all most all instruments in musical. so it single handed handles all music moreover the music from keyboard makes our mind and soul relax and feels like out of world forgetting all probs,sad,worries etc...music itself its a special thing..instrument is gift of music...:) [rajeshank]
wow..cool rajesh..i didnt expect that you have this much interest in music instrument..i have lot of interest in musical instrument but i learning guitar in my school days just for some days thats all..dont think that i can play guitar very well..music teacher used to teach after school hours..in my music class there were around 6 to 7 people..he teached us only one week..after that he ran away from school..i think he felt it is impossible for these people to learn music..lol..after i didnt have any chance to learn any music.. thanks for your comment adhavgeek [adhavgeek]
I like how all the instruments's music combine and create wonderful songs. But of course I have a favourite instrument: guitar. I play it everyday, I love it. I guess it's the most common instrument these days, but I still like it. Exactely because it's common but wonderful. Very simple and creates wonderful songs if you know how to handle it. As for listening, as I said before, I like how they all merge together, but there are some that stand out from the "crowd" like the piano (I used to play this, too, but I don't have much time now so I sticked to the guitar only), violin - it sounds wonderful in opera kind of music, those songs used in the background of movies mostly and drums - they give the rhythm of the song, afterall, right? My favourite musical instruments are piano, guitar and violin. I took piano lessons when I was a child, but I no longer have a piano and I don't play very often anymore. I have a guitar, though, and I want to learn to play the guitar. My fiance plays the guitar, so he can help me. I look forward to learning it happy I have never played the violin, but I have always wanted to learn it. I love listening to people who play the violin. [Porcospino]

I like to play the guitar, the drum set, but just like you i don't know how to play those things but I try to learn some of the "chords" in a song so i can sing it when i like to. But I am some kind of a lazy sometimes so I cannot memorize those chords.lol.XD [khalel]

I CAN PLAY THE PIANO! haha. in fact, I am very proud to say that. it isn't because that I am boasting that I can play really well, but the fact that I have put in a lot of effort in it, and so did my parents. They've let me start learning piano since I was 4. I started beginners at 4, and then started grade 1 when I was 7. Somewhere in between, I think it was when I was in Grade 5...I had the tendancy to keep thinking of stopping piano. It was like I lost interest totally in it, but my mom insisted that I continue learning. She told me that once I am able to get through THIS STAGE, then everything would be easier. and in the end, IT WAS TRUE! I am turning 16 soon, and yeah, I just finished learning Performer's Certificate(just had exam last week too!) and will be starting with Diploma next year. ;D oh, and, I learn the violin too...I started when i was 13. gonna take Grade 7 next year. People do say, that learning a 2nd instrument would be easier than when you learn your first instrument...but I don't quite agree with that saying, because each instrument has different ways of playing it. In piano, you'll learn how to control your fingers and make the notes sound like the way you want it to be. As for violin, you'll need to learn how to control your bowing, and also pressing the correct strings at the correct time to produce the correct note. my favourite instrument, would be the piano and HARP(: I would be really thankful if I had the chance to learn harp in the future. maybe when I'm studying in uni or something... ;D [ljy559]

I had the option to learn how to play the piano & guitar but I chose guitar. I find the music coming from the guitar to be very moving. I also used to hang a lot with friends during my college days and singing was our passion so we always brought along a guitar whenever we hang out which was almost every night. So I guess it was my natural for me to learn how to play the guitar. But sad to say, I haven't touched a guitar in the last 8 years i think. My poor excuse is that i got too caught up with my career and traveling. I kinda feel sad that I have forgotten how relaxing it is to just play the guitar and sing. I was cleaning my closet about 2 months ago and came up my old guitar. I had it specially made for me years ago. All I could do now is remember it with a smile of those days gone by wherein I was very carefree and just hang out with my friends. We used to even serenade those neighbors who was having their birthdays and its always a surprise and we did it during break of dawn with the just the guitar's music accompanying our voices and wishes. My childhood fascination was the organ. There is nothing like a pipe organ blaring out a fugue using all four appendages ... But alas, when I was six when my mother asked me what instrument I wanted to play - we just did not have room for an organ (early sixties - the portable ones available today weren't around) - My sister convinced me to take up accordion, which was a kind of half organ - Now I always wonder - would it have been different if I chose violin? There is nothing like a solo violin at a skilled practitioner. But that was not my opinion at the time I was asked to choose. I still wish I would have asked to be shown around before deciding. though the flute is very nice. I had a recording at one time of a Bach piece for Lute and Flute (the lute part played on guitar) - they went very well together. [Qaeyious]

The music instrument which I like best is my Yamaha PSR3000. It was an investment because it was very expensive. I use it to play songs and also to teach my students. [eagle_f15]

I like most organ and guitar. I can play guitar but I cannot play organ or piano. I love to sing with both instruments as my accompaniments. I can play the guitar and I can sing with it strumming it by myself. Music is my favorite past time and almost every night we are singing in the church as group and sometime we have our singing engagement outside. Sometimes we perform a hotel for wedding and in any occasions. My husband also play both instruments and we as family sings together just for fun inside the house. I really love the sound of the flute. I taught myself to play the flute about 3 years ago, after spending 6 years in middle school/high school band. When I first starting playing music, I played the clarinet. Then I switched to the bass clarinet, which is an octive lower than the clarinet. I loved playing the bass clarinet for school band. I also starting playing pit percussion (xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, congas, etc.) in high school for the marching band. Now I play the flute in the orchestra at my church and I love it. me too, i love lot of Music Instruments can't play too.But when I was a kid my dad had bought many of musical instruments:violin,erhu,guitar(smaller size for me;standard size for him),harmonica,flute,electronic organ...None of my dad and me could play these instruments well,and finally i chosen drawing as my hobby ...lol,surprise?The answer is my family is a music loving family ,mom,dad,i like sing ,dancing,I still remember may be i was 4~6,each weekend would hold a family concert,we will record our songs on tape.At the beginning my father try to play music accompanied for us ,so he bought violin and quickly gave up it was too hard to play;later he bought erhu somereason to gave up...But he can play each instruments for some musical phrases,he wanted me can chosen one of instruments and play well.Unfortunately i gave up play them as quickly as him even faster,because i was easily to lose my temper and patient ,put angry on the instruments,so my dad did not allow me to touch them put them high out of my reach.Finally i chosen drawing and my parents support that,may be the things that i could damage were papers and pencils which were cheaper than violin...what an angry child i am! Althrough i'm a big fan of all instruments, because i come from a musical family. I would have to say that my instrument of choice is the clarinet i've been playing clarinet every sence I was in the six grade and I love it.Now my sister plays the flute and my what a lovely sound that is, and nobody can mention instruments without saying something about the beat of a drum, now thats music for your soul. My most favorite instrument is the steel guitar. You hear it played in alot of country and island music and they are my favorite. hi there adhavgeek! in my case, i like playing the piano, the simple church organ and the pipe organ (if i had the chance to play a pipe organ). i also like listening to their music, because they're so beautiful and they sound so complex. and i also know that playing those pieces are very difficult, even for a master pianist or organist. try looking for lyric sheets for "Moonlight Sonata 3rd mvt", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor", and you'll see what i'm saying. =) i like playing the piano and church organ because it makes me appreciate the skills i've learned so that i can play these instruments well. it took me a lot of effort, determination and patience to be able to play good piano and organ pieces. i also like the way the music emanates from these instruments as i play them. i feel light, i feel great and wonderful when i listen to what i'm playing. =) thanks and more power to you! =) [mazdakid]
