Gee that is a toss up, would be either Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers or Billy Joel. I have so much of all of their music, I have seen Kenny Rogers several times, Neil Diamond only once at the Wintergarden and Billy Joel never, though I did camp out one night, all night to get tickets to his concert, but I did not get there early enough, the tickets were sold out when I was still about a block away from the ticket office. The one and only Santana. I would sit and swoon while he played all his old music to me. (i don't like his latest stuff) I have seen him loads of times and he is my favourite. If he was unavailable it would then have to be Earth Wind and Fire. I saw them last year and was blown away. What fantastic musicians and their singer has still got it. Definetly Good Charlotte! I love there music and all that they stand for. They are one of those bands that just do it for the fans and not for the money. Plus to add to all their GREAT music, they are all very good looking. I mean HOT!. But i just love their music and they are my favorite band. I would love to have them do a personal concert for me. I would say Cher but my house isn't large enough to accomodate her costume changes and props sooooooo, I ma going to have to say natalie Merchant. her voice is so poetic to me and I love the lyrics she writes. Her music is so emotional and intelligent. I have seen her in concert once back in 1988 when she was with 10,000 Maniacs but I haven't seen her since then and I would love to. [sunnypub]

This would be awesome to be come reality but it will stay a dream, i would like to have the Mahavishnu Orchestra play a concert but they are from the 70´s and split up in 1976, they tryed a reuinion in the 80´s but it faild, sadly this will never happen. If you don´t know them they were into jazz rock/fusion. [Lewah69]
Sorry for seeing this so late but yes Birds Of Fire that´s a great tune by them, i love their music. John Mc´Laughlin made a solo record with Carlos Santana called Love Devotion & Surrender in 1972 also very nice to listen. Both had lessons by the indi guru Shri Cinmoy who inspired Mc´Laughlin on the name Mahavishnu also Carlos named him self then Devadip Carlos Santana. hi hockeygal. if i could choose a group who would perform a personal concert for me i think it would be u2. i have followed them for years now and although i don't think alot of their music is as good as their earlier stuff still think they are a great band. i saw them in birmingham a few years back and they were fantastic, so to see them in my own front room would be amazing!
